I am a former tenured professor with over 20 years of experience in academic writing, publishing, and editing, and 10 years of experience mentoring graduate students and new faculty.

In 2024, I resigned from Bowling Green State University, where I was faculty in the Department of Theatre and Film, to relocate to my home state of Minnesota and start a small business that serves arts academics.

Before I began my academic career, I worked for non-profit theatre organizations in Minneapolis, performed in the taiko group Mu Daiko, and worked as a freelance stage manager.

Now living in northern Minnesota, I am returning to writing poetry, spending time with my extended family and friends, and enjoying the great Northwoods with my Border Terrier, Juniper.
